Thank you to all who were able to make it out to Curriculum Night last week. It was a pleasure to visit with all of you regarding our scholars path to a successful year in fourth grade! If you were not able to make it, we certainly understand. We have attached our presentation for your reference. Please never hesitate to contact us with any questions or ideas!
Our second week of school may have only been 4 days, but it was full of learning experiences for our scholars! In science our scholars explored properties of matter while demonstrating proper use of science lab tools. Ask your scholar if they know how to find the mass of an object by using a triple beam balance or if they can show you their presentation that they have been creating. In math we focused on place value, specifically on the relationship between each place value and patterns between the number periods.
What a great week we have had! Here are a few pictures from just today! First you will see the students are presenting their design projects to their classmates and next you will see them learning about the relationship between place values. Ask your scholar if he or she knows what an Oil Derick is. Have a great weekend! We cant wait to see the scholars back here on on Tuesday.
It was so great to meet so many of our new scholars! A big thank you to all of the parents, grandparents and even aunts and uncles who took time from their busy schedules to drop off school supplies, check out their new classroom and meet the teacher. We look forward to seeing all of our new scholars bright and early Monday morning. Until then, enjoy your weekends!
